Synlico Inc. in South San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Financial & International Investor Relations Analyst to perform customer due diligence for investment transactions with domestic and international investors to identify risks and assess opportunities. Collaborate with international investors to prepare documents to fulfill requirements of foreign direct investment policies of investment originating countries. Identify and screen ultimate beneficiary owners of domestic and international investors to ensure compliance with CFIUS, BIS, and OFAC laws and regulations. Analyze biotechnology industry trends, market conditions, and economic indicators to inform CEO of investment decisions. Execute company’s investor relations strategy by creating projects for each investor and performing end to end project management including investment planning, deal negotiating, document preparation, and contract implementation. Monitor economic and regulatory trends in China to support inbound Chinese investments and ensure compliance with investment regulations in China.

 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or substantially related field and 3 years of experience (any job title) in: CFIUS, BIS, and OFAC sanctions compliance; customer due diligence process for investments; and management of Chinese investments, including preparation of Chinese overseas investment certificates.
